Post Thumbnail, now Featured Image, is an image that is
chosen as the representative image for Posts, Pages or
Custom Post Types. […] This is especially useful for
“magazine-style” themes where each post has an image.
Featured Images are a must for every site so emphasize the
content of an article. Log Lolla supports them and is using
them to give a distinctive look for posts having such an
image set.
We are trying to use a clever algorithm to display Featured
Images. Sometimes they are displayed in a single row,
sometimes in the same row with the article title, sometimes
they are displayed with full size. If all featured images
would be displayed in the same way, we are afraid the
newsfeed would get boring.
